  • $160 per 50-minute session

Online individual counselling with children, adolescents and adults. I use evidence-based Focused Psychological Strategies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, and CBT-based play therapy.

As an Asian woman, I understand the unique experiences and pressures that can come with migration, cultural adjustment, family expectations, and maintaining balance between cultures. Many of my clients appreciate being able to speak in their preferred language and to work with someone who understands these nuances and values. I believe in your resilience and your expertise in your own life.

I offer therapy sessions online via video. I'm available on Monday/Tuesday. If they don't suit, we can work something out.

I accept Mental Health Treatment Plan. The Medicare rebate rate is $87.25 per session.

You might be able to claim sessions through your private health fund. It’s best to check your cover.

  • The cost will depend on the type of report you’re looking for.

I provide supportive and professionally written Mental Health Social Worker reports to assist with:

    • Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) cases involving family violence for partner visa applications

    • Victims of Crime (VOCAT / Financial Assistance Scheme) applications to help you access funded counselling

To create a detailed and accurate report, we’ll meet for several counselling sessions. These sessions give me the opportunity to understand your situation, experiences, and mental health needs so your report truly reflects your circumstances. The number of sessions and the level of detail required will vary depending on your individual case.

If you need a trauma-informed mental health assessment, AAT family violence report, or Victims of Crime counselling report, I’m here to support you through the process with care and clarity.

  • $120 - $150 per 50-minute session

Online social work supervision sessions are available for students (I offer a discount if you are currently studying), new graduates and experienced social workers.

I specialise in Public Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs and Private Practice.

I’ve been where you are now - once an international student, a social worker in training, a new graduate, and an early-career practitioner navigating the complexities of Mental Health practice.

Because I’ve lived these experiences, I understand how important it is to have guidance, encouragement, and a safe space to reflect.

You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Through professional supervision, I’m here to support you in building your confidence, strengthening your clinical skills, and working toward your professional goals - whether that’s job readiness, career progression, ongoing professional development, or becoming an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. My aim is to offer supportive, thoughtful and reflective supervision that helps you grow with clarity, purpose, and a sense of connection to the work you love.

  • Sometimes there may be a fee, and other times I’m able to offer it at no cost.

As a proud female social worker from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background, I carry a deep passion for our profession and for supporting the growth of fellow social workers.

Nurturing others in their learning and development has always been close to my heart. I warmly welcome opportunities to collaborate with universities, organisations, and professional associations to create and deliver meaningful projects, workshops, and training.

My hope is to contribute to spaces where social workers feel supported, inspired, and empowered to continue making a difference.

Book a free 15 min phone call

I believe that a genuine connection is the foundation of all therapeutic relationships. That’s why I offer an initial phone chat, giving you the chance to get a sense of whether we might be a good fit. During this conversation, I’ll listen to your needs, answer any questions, and provide recommendations - whether that’s moving forward together or helping you find support elsewhere. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and confident in the next steps of your journey.

Nice to meet you

Hi, I’m Ivy. So glad you are here.

I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) and a member of the AASW. I support people through life’s challenges with warmth, respect, and understanding. My approach is grounded in understanding your story, your strengths, and what matters most to you. I believe that the connection between client and counsellor forms the foundation of meaningful healing and growth.

AMHSWs are recognised for their skills and experience in providing Focused Psychological Strategies - evidence-based approaches that support mental health and wellbeing. This means I'm qualified to deliver psychological interventions similar to those offered by other mental health professionals.

I have worked in acute health and mental health services, alcohol and other drug treatment, and dual diagnosis in hospital and community settings. I have supported adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and relationship or identity challenges.

My sessions are client-led, meaning you set the pace and focus, and I will listen carefully to what’s most important to you. Together, we’ll develop goals and a treatment plan that feels right for you. My style is warm, calm, and non-judgemental, and I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can reflect, heal, and grow.
